That's SOOOO SAD! God I seriously want to cry. He was so young and so good at what he did! I can't believe he died in such a way...
So nice of DW to design suspension for Giant and let them have it for free.
You're absolutely wrong iamamodel. You case it on a big double, you break bones. There's really no getting around it most of the time. If you come up short on a table, you're landing on something flat and it hurts, but you can ride it out. If you're just barely shy of the landing you usually end bouncing off of the flat and landing smooth on the downside anyway. If you're even a couple feet shy on a big double it's going to most likely be a big deal.
Think about it, a flat landing from 10 ft high, or landing on a fine point that is angled so that all of the force hits your bottom bracket and stops you completely. Just the obvious mechanics of jumping a bike and forward momentum should let you know which one is worse...
So, where's the freeride? Is it all dirt jumps and pump tracks? Is there anything suitable for a bike sporting dual crown forks?
Has nothing to do with Trek's bikes, the fact that they signed the fastest man int he sport, put him through an amazing training program, and gave him the support he needs -- that's what has made the monster that is Gwin. It's simply a sophisticated race program in a young sport. The fact that Honda came in, signed a couple of riders, then absolutely dominated for two years (with no previous experience in the sport) is proof of this. A great race program with dedicated and talented riders will go alot further than simply claiming that you make the best bikes in the world..
Why does the vast majority of MTB vids have to be contaminated with bad dubstep?
Thank you for the replay!
The truly amazing thing is that he beat Minaar on his home track! Who the hell would have thought that would happen?!
Of course they care if fans like them. If no one wanted to watch him race, he wouldn't make any money doing this.
I can't wait for the day that we actually get to use what is best, rather than what is shoved down our throats and we get to pay tons of money for. Does anyone REALLY think this is necessary? Does anyone REALLY think that any derailleur in the world is better than a gear box? Funny how money can either propel a sport forward, (or in this case) slow it way, way, way down.
Ripdog, you honestly think that the reproductive organs are the only inherent differences between men and women? Really? How about maternal instinct? Or how about physical ability? Just the difference in body hair is evidence of the different roles males and females have played as we evolved as a race.
Do you really want your son treating women like men? Walking up to his girlfriend, slugging her in the arm, wrestling her to the ground, and making her tap? Or would you rather he opens doors for her, buys her flowers, and actually treats her like she's special?
Oh and the "playa" vs "slut" comparison stems from the male's instinct to chase and a female's instinct to sift through her suitors, and pick her favorite. This is actual scientific fact as the same thing is shown in the animal kingdom. I'm not saying it's "right", I'm just saying that it's not entirely the product of human society.
I don't understand why some women perceive the fact that men and women are different as a bad thing and try to negate it. Especially when those same women would most certainly be offended beyond belief if they were to truly witness a woman being treated like a man. About Us
